While yes they are "zombies", The entire time you are playing the game they are referred as husks. The game lets you know they're called husks. That's like saying the Flood from halo are just zombies too, or the "walkers" from the walking dead. They're branded and when the creator of said game comes around after abandoning the game for 10 years and suddenly gives it a face lift even tho they fired the story writers and most of the cast of save the world to refer to their monsters as "zombies" it kinda shines a bad light at fortnite especially for the founders who paid alot of money to fund save the world
