Hey Ted! LOVED the story moment today and the marketing before it happened. It means a ton to all of us who follow the story! 🫶 I do have a question though, are you able to relay some feedback to the team over on YouTube? If so, when posting cinematics, would they be able to work on making thumbnails for Fortnite cinematics more attention grabbing? It's something that's been bugging me for the past year or so because I believe every Fortnite cinematic is phenomenal and I'd love for more people to see them and be able to appreciate the work of the cinematic team. However, as of late, the images being used for the cinematic videos aren't too appealing in my opinion. Let's take the Showdown cinematic teaser trailers thumbnails for example. Instead of just using the promotional CH7S2 Showdown image, a frame with the Ice King & Foundation could be used along with the logo. This would grab more people's attention because they'd see The Foundation and be like "Woah, he's back? What's going on?" if yk what I mean. And the logo on there would make them wonder what is this Showdown about, is it a new season, etc. Same thing would apply for the recent cinematic trailer with Dark Voyager. There would be a consistent pattern with the logo which would signify to people that there are multiple connected cinematic teaser trailers being posted, etc. These two rough thumbnails I made took about 5 minutes to do each, so it shouldn't be too difficult. If something can be done to improve the thumbnails for Fortnite cinematics over on YT that would be amazing, if not I understand. @JustTeddii I think connecting the power hours to the story moments was such a smart idea it makes them feel so much more special and memorable. I think it would be cool if in the future they kinda feel like the effects of what happened in the moment or more connected to the lore.
