Companies have many ways to manage costs besides charging players more. Maybe reduce the massive payouts to Creative islands, slow down the constant collaborations, or adjust other spending. Epic Games launches new partnerships in Fortnite almost every month. Raising prices and giving players less value isn’t the only option.
