The story moment was amazing! I loved everything about it, and the music really added a lot to it. 🔥 It was fun seeing the Shape react to almost getting struck by the Rocket. There was also a lot of attention to detail when the Rocket was landing. Such as the exhaust ducts being filled up with debris and players being set on fire if they were in close proximity to the rocket’s exhaust. The promotion for the story moment was also VERY helpful and it’s how I believe things should be done moving forward so more people get the opportunity to experience this magic. Overall, the team did an incredible job and I’m looking forward to the story events to come!! ❤️

@JustTeddii Hey Ted. You guys really cooked with this event and the cinematic replay but.. can you please give us a Safe Zone and disable the storm next time? I know it was a small event but people are just killing you in last seconds to miss the event. The storm is also very annoying :(

It felt alive! A defining moment in Fortnite's history was the rocket launch. But just like that one wasn't a typical one, this landing wasn't either, and that's what made it so special. This story moment was supported by small yet effective build-up (the new landing site) and its impact on the ongoing story (Visitor's arrival , and maybe even a shocked Shape who now needs some time to process everything 😂). All of this made the live event, our experience, feel authentic.

Live events are what hooked me on the game in its early days. Small moments that capture the awe of regular game players makes the map and world feel so alive. I like with this event that it is visual from all areas of the map and obvious when/where it will start. The music of these events are always top notch, please keep crafting epic scores! Events that change the map make them feel important in the storyline. I would love to see more more storylines played out through map changes and poi evolutions. A constant live asset to experience daily like the original cube movements is desperately missed! Thanks to the events team, I have some of my favorite memories of the game.

Easily one of the best mini events in years. I like what you guys are doing with the story right now, it feels like a core experience of the game not just something added in. In the future I would like to see to even more interactive storyline moments. Kinda like what you did with the seven teaser last week but ramp it up even more. Give us a code through loading screens or tweets that take several updates to complete. Make a hidden area on the map where we can put the code in and gives us a voice line or a cut scene with a significant lore drop or teaser. Overall this direction is what the community needed from you guys for so long and it feels like prime Fortnite is coming back.

Hey, I really hope someone from the team gets a chance to read this. I know I don’t speak for the entire community, just for myself, but I want to express how meaningful it is to see the care and dedication you’re all putting into the lore in this new phase of Battle Royale. These mini-events have been absolutely incredible. I’m not sure how far you’re planning to take this new narrative direction, but I genuinely think it would be amazing if Epic released an official lore guide or lorebook covering the story so far, especially for newer players. There are already some fantastic community-made compilations out there that deserve a lot of credit. With so many seasons and chapters, and with certain gaps currently left open to interpretation due to the lack of official canonization, an official source could help clarify key elements while still preserving the mystery where intended. Either way, this is just a suggestion. I’m truly happy to see the mini-events and larger events returning, along with the comeback of classic characters as well.

Amazing! Story events both mini and large scale just bring the game to life, helping progress the narrative further. They’re also such a great way to bring the community together to build up hype and make Br feel alive Moving forward I think no matter the size of the event there should always be a safe zone enabled so it ensures players can see the event when in a live match. Also I feel like there should be two types of timers that can help show the difference between a large and mini event (Maybe naming the playlist a Story Moment was your work around to established that maybe?). Regardless of the event size tho a timer is always good because a lot of us wanna be able to witness these moments, although a surprise here and there is also really good! Something I just wanted to add for future large scale events is imo Ch2 S8 was a PERFECT example of a large scale event. It just had the perfect balance of gameplay, story and cutscenes. Transitioning into cutscenes during event just makes it feel more like a movie and builds up a lot of hype, especially with a big reveal Overall I’m loving the direction where this is all being taken so thank you to you Ted the whole team involved 👑🙌🏼
