You know what’s funny - we looked into the data for this. Fewer players quit when surfing is the intro method, and matches have improved mid-to-late games. Still, that’s just one data point - the other important one being community sentiment, and it’s seen a real mix of feedback! It certainly left a mark. I would love to see an improved version of the “Play As Boss” feature where it actually feels worth picking up, with stronger and more unique abilities 🦸 On top of that, mid-match objectives for powerful rewards similar to the Chapter 6 Season 3 spires would be amazing so the gameplay loop doesn’t feel repetitive. Getting jobs from boards and farming gold for vending machines is cool, but fighting other players over exotic items was way more exciting 👹 I also really hope Season 2 continues the strong focus on storyline, voiced quests, and mini-events. This season has been incredibly loved by lore fans, and the amount of story progression happening directly on the map has been insane. Story content is what makes Battle Royale engaging even when you just log in to follow the narrative and catch up on lore. But please - market the events better! The Visitor returning had a huge player count potential if it had a countdown 📖 Season 2 clearly has huge potential, and with the delays it really sounds like a lot of effort is going into it. I’m very excited to experience it myself. Keep up the great work and communication! 🫶

The "Play As Boss" feature heavily improved or reverted back to dropped mythic powers instead. They feel underwhelming; the abilities aren't game-changing for something locked to your inventory and perma-marked. They should be stuff like the mythics in previous seasons, like imagine Hush got stealth camo, thermal vision, and marked players instead of just getting some zero dashes. When collabs have had literal mythic powers and abilities that feel crazy and unique (Marvel powers, animes, even FN originals like the Surf Cube, Zeus Lightning, etc) - Imagine for an Ice King boss, he gets the ability to Ice Surf just like in C6S3, or Dark Voyager get's a remade Doom mystical bomb as a Golden Cube bomb, but they're the ONLY ones in the match. It's pretty disappointing to defeat a whole boss, lock in a slot picking it up, be visible to everyone, and your reward is, some... low grav every 2 minutes? The only real benefit is a net +50 HP, but that's often cancelled out by all the downsides anyway. I don't think I've ever seen so many bosses just walked past undefeated or their mythic left behind, and I have only seen about 10 people PLAYING as a boss the whole season. This is honestly my only big negative with Ch7S1, the gameplay is fun, the map is great, the loot pool is interesting. But one of the selling points that make a season unique is something you can ONLY find for that time, like the bosses and their mythics. I think if this is adjusted and made far more unique and worth taking, the bosses will be interesting, add to gameplay, and make them worth the risk to take. Tbf these were probably just the base idea of PaB, and next season y'all already have some crazy ideas for them. So excited to see what's been cooking! 🙏❤️

I think pace of play is most important. No golden loot path but rewarded marginally for things throughout the game. Foundations for an insanely good chapter are there. Would love to see the Tier system come back, door open and close animations on car doors, and make it so when I have my pickaxe out I have unlimited and faster sprint. Bonus points if you hardware ban anyone who wears an all gray superhero skin in more than 50% of their games. Excited for season 2!

I think Mid game objectives add so much replay value to BR, this season was great for competing but not so great for people who stream/play everyday, Having something to fight for off spawn medallion/mythic, something happening mid game island/vaults/cache I also think something that hugely overlooked is the randomness of Reload, when BR had augments, key chests etc there were random combinations that made each game feel different, different rare guns to play with each time Thank you for caring and wanting public opinion 🫡

Storyline quests with long voicelines, including bringing back Jonesy's voicelines. the combat shotgun with the old OG stats pre-nerf. Something similar to the mothership minigames. Confirmation that chapter 7 will not be a yearly chapter and actually be 2 years long. Explanation for what the original cube cradle is. Oh and a major save the world update that gives a proper finale or continues the story in a major way. Proper full save the world connection to Battle Royale storyline The battle pass being peak and no bland and boring skins. Skins with upgradable styles like we used to get in chapter 1 battle passes. Customizable cosmetics like what we used to get with the Omni swords/Snap/toonafish Bring back the secret skins and make them secret and they don't make them a collab Butter Barn returning. Neo Butter barn too. Mk seven assault rifle getting the old stats back, Pre Nerf nitro fists return. 0 icons skins, 1 or no collabs the whole seasons with the season's focus being on original cosmetics only. Creative/uefn getting new devices and getting the meddlions added to creative. Blitz getting meddlions back. New Storyline skin for Jonesy and Hope and put them in the battle pass. Bring key cards and vaults back in Battle Royale or meddlions. I Hope they do not bring back the mammoth or wrecked revolver. Oh and the season ends with a 20 minute live event that is better then all the previous events and future events get better and better after that. This is what I hope for lol

1.) A Katana or similar mobility item that has charges / cooldown. 2.) Fun objectives mid match (vaults, island, flags). Gives players something to look forward to each match. 3.) More exotics! I would love to see some kind of mechanic or system that adds more depth to the gameplay. Something that makes BR more than just loot, shoot, win. I liked how in Fortnite Chapter 4 we had the heat mechanic. It gave you regenerating health, which got stronger over time the more elims you had. I like having other objectives to go for like the vaults in the super hero season that were unlocked by your current rank. Heck even augments were fun. It felt like I was able to create my own custom character class, with unique abilities that would stack. They don't have to be exactly these mechanics (except the heat mechanic bring that one back lol) but something that gives more purpose to the BR loop.

@JustTeddii A new/unique movement item and tier systems! The tier systems were GREAT - it felt nice to be rewarded for fighting instead of camping 😊 I think too something throughout the match to pace it a little better (island, caches, vaults, etc). Its nice to have a midgame objective!

Supernova season had so many unique weapons and movement items. Sooooo many viable load-out options! There was also a lot of mid game objectives like ranking up or finding mythics/exotics that good increase your chance of winning the game and ofc made each match unique! These attributes of the supernova season are my hopes and dreams for next!
