Epic talks about almost everything — it just won't give players what they ask for
Of 60 top topics, 42 get an Epic dev response — but 21 are Epic *explaining why not*, vs only 9 where it shipped the change. 18 had no on-topic reply we could find (a floor).
The breakdown
We matched each of the 60 top topics to the Epic-dev replies that actually address it (semantically), then classified the strongest response.
42/60 topics get some Epic engagement. Breakdown: 9 shipped the change · 21 explained the decision · 12 acknowledged · 18 no on-topic reply found.
The dominant mode is EXPLAINED (21) — Epic giving reasoning for why it won't do what players ask (SBMM is the textbook case).
Floor caveat: our scrape is recent/thread-limited, so 'no reply found' is a floor — not proof Epic stayed silent.
